Vojtech Alexander (Slovak), Alexander Béla (Hungarian) (1857, Kežmarok – 1916,
Budapest ) was one of the most influential radiologists in the world.He was the founder of
radiology in theKingdom of Hungary . Among his many achievements, he described the development oftuberculosis . He was the owner of the firstX-ray apparatus in Slovakia and wrote poems in Slovak.
