Intrusive Spur

Intrusive Spur (coord|73|30|S|94|25|W|) is a rock spur along the north front of the Jones Mountains, 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Avalanche Ridge. Mapped by the University of Minnesota-Jones Mountains Party, 1960-61. So named by the party because the intrusive complex of the basement rocks of the Jones Mountains is well exposed on the spur.
