"The War Within" is the fourth full-length studio album by metalcore/thrash metal band Shadows Fall. The album is notable for the songs such as "What Drives the Weak," "Inspiration on Demand," "The Power of I and I" and "The Light That Blinds"Fact|date=November 2007. The album also features a sampler track with music from other metalcore bands, such as Stampin' Ground and God Forbid. It debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200.
