Lis Wiehl

Lis Wiehl (born August 9, 1961, Seattle, Washington) is a legal analyst for Fox News, joining the network in October 2001.

She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. Formerly a legal commentator for National Public Radio program, she currently gives legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, "The Radio Factor". She also debates feminist issues every Friday with Marc H. Rudov on Fox News' "Your World with Neil Cavuto". [] She is the sister of actor Christopher Wiehl.

Education and career

She began her career as a lawyer for the law firm of Perkins Coie then served as a federal prosecutor from 1990–1995. Before joining Fox, Wiehl was a legal analyst for CBS affiliate KIRO-TV in Seattle, and (from November 2000 to February 2001) NBC News.

Marriage to Mickey Sherman

Wiehl married criminal-defense attorney Mickey Sherman on June 23, 2006 in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Sherman is a television legal analyst who represented Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel in the murder trial in which Skakel was convicted.

Wiehl has a daughter and a son from a previous marriage and was living in Westchester County, New York before her marriage to Sherman. Her husband also has an adult son and an adult daughter from a previous marriage.
