Romal Amanov

Romal Amanov is Azaerbaidjani boxer who won silver at the 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships at lightweight.

In the semis the southpaw beat one of the favorites Domenico Valentino 29:22He lost the final to lanky Cuban Yordenis Ugas 28:42.

2006 on 10th Anwar Chowdhry Cup in final bout he defeated Aydin Selcuk of Turkey (37:28) and won a gold Medal

At the 2007 World Championships he defeated Daouda Sow but lost to eventual winner Frankie Gavin.
