Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust
The Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust was a former tram operator in
Melbourne ,Australia . It was later acquired by theMelbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board .History
The Tramways Trust was formed under the "Prahran & Malvern Tramways Trust Act 1907" to construct and operating electric tramways in the municipalities of
City of Prahran andCity of Malvern . In 1910 it was reconstituted to include representatives of theCity of St Kilda and theCity of Caulfield . The Trust consisted of five members, one each from the four constituent councils and the Chairman. In 1913 theCity of Kew andCity of Hawthorn were included, and with further route extensions in 1915 theCity of Camberwell was included.cite web
