Sørensen

Sørensen is a Danish surname, and may refer to a number of people. English-language media often renders it as either "Sorensen" (or misspelled "Sorenson"); while this may be the best possible compromise, such usage is incorrect in Danish and does not recognise that the letter ø is a separate one, not an o with a diacritic.
