"Let's Take It to the Stage" is the seventh
albumby American funk/soul/rock band Funkadelic. It was released in April of 1975 on Westbound Records(see 1975 in music). Compared to most of the group's albums it features more short and to-the-point songs and fewer epic jam sessions. The "G. Cook" songwriting credited was used by guitarist Eddie Hazel. Some lyrics from "Get Off Your Ass And Jam" have been used in a remix of Lil Jon's " Get Low", by the Ying Yang Twins.
