United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 8.0 square miles (20.8 km²), of which, 7.9 square miles (20.4 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.4 km²) of it (2.12%) is water.
As of the
censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 47,379 people, 15,203 households, and 12,055 families residing in the CDP. The population densitywas 6,027.3 people per square mile (2,327.4/km²). There were 15,983 housing units at an average density of 2,033.3/sq mi (785.1/km²).
