North Avenue is a major street that runs west-east across the city of
Baltimore, Maryland , is considered by many to be the northern boundary of downtown Baltimore, and at one time was the northern boundary of the city of Baltimore. A large portion of North Avenue is a part of US-1. North Avenue is Exit 6 offInterstate 83 . North Avenue is notable for being one of the major streets to connect East and West Baltimore without going into the downtown business district. As such, the avenue contains many blighted sections of both East and West Baltimore.There are two
