Lehavim-Rahat Railway Station
Lehavim Rahat Railway Station is a station on the
Israel Railwayslines between Tel Aviv(and points north) and Beersheba, located near Lehavim Junction. The station was opened on Saturday night ("motsa'ei Shabbat") June 23 2007. The station was briefly renamed to Lehavim Railway Station, or Lehavim Center Railway Station, [ [http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3410685,00.html news report] ] although Rahat was added back to the name after a campaign led by Rahat's mayor, Talal al-Karnawi.
