Reginald Williams, Jr. (born May 17, 1983 in Landstuhl, Germany) is an American football player who currently plays wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL.

High School Career

He attended Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington. Led his team to the championship game in his senior year. Was the AP Washington State Player Of The Year.

College career

After an intense recruiting battle, Williams chose the University of Washington.Started 32 of 36 games and rewrote most of the school's receiving records … Left school following his junior season … Had 238 career receptions for 3,536 yards and 22 touchdowns … Only player in school history to gain over 1,000 yards receiving twice in a career and only player in school history to gain over 900 yards receiving in a season three times … All-Conference first-team selection as a junior and sophomore … Majored in psychology.

NFL career

Williams was drafted 9th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was the third receiver taken behind Larry Fitzgerald (3rd overall) and Roy Williams (7th overall).

Williams put up disappointing numbers in his rookie season of 2004. He rebounded the first half of 2005, but in the second half, he had a slump brought on by a concussion.

Through the first six weeks of the 2006 NFL season Reggie Williams was among the top receivers in the NFL. An injury to the ankle of Byron Leftwich caused Leftwich to miss the remainder of the season. After David Garrard became starting quarterback, Williams' production slipped.

Williams had his best game as a pro against the New Orleans Saints on week 9 of the 2007 regular season, making 6 catches for 128 yards and 1 touchdown. His best professional season to date was in 2007, where he had 38 catches for 629 net yards (an average of 16.6 yards per catch) and 10 touchdowns (more than twice his career total prior to 2007). In a game against the Oakland Raiders on week 16, he broke the Jaguars single season receiving touchdown record, a record previously held by the retired Jimmy Smith.
