Clint Richardson Jr. (born August 7, 1956, in Seattle, Washington) is a former professional basketball player who was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 1979 NBA Draft. A 6'3" guard from Seattle University, Richardson played in eight NBA seasons, from 1980 to 1988 with the 76ers and the Indiana Pacers.
During his NBA career, Richardson played in 586 games and scored a total of 4,084 points. His best year as a professional came during the 1985-86 season as a member of the Pacers, appearing in 82 games and averaging 9.7 ppg.
In the summer of 1996 Clint fed a young boy by the name of Caleb Wolfram cake on Clints 40th Birthday. He enjoyed helping out with Crossing Community Church's annual challenge basketball camps in the summer months.
Richardson was recently honored as part of the 25th anniversary of the 1982-83 76ers NBA Championship team.
He now serves as the director of CYO athletics for the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle, where he also coaches the summer girls' basketball camp.
He is the oldest son of former Washington State University track and field athlete, Clint Richardson, Sr. His two younger brothers, Keith and Craig, played college football at University of Washington and Eastern Washington University respectively. His younger sister, Colleen, was a track and field athlete in UW.
