"Second Turn" (orig. Malayalam "Randamoozham") is an award winning novel by acclaimed
Malayalamnovelist M. T. Vasudevan Nair. M. T. Vasudevan Nair is the recipient of Jnanpithaward, the highest literary honour in India, and Randamoozham is widely credited as one of his best works, if not the best. It was translated into English as "Second Turn" in 1997.
The novel is set as a retelling of the Indian epic
Mahabharata, from the view of Bhima, the second Pandava.
