Architectural projects under construction in Belgrade

There are many architectural projects under construction in Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2002 Belgrade has experienced a major construction boom. These are only some of the projects under construction in Belgrade: []

* Airport City Belgrade in New Belgrade. The construction of a new 17-storey Crowne Plaza hotel started in june 2008.
* Avala TV Tower is under reconstruction following the NATO Airstrikes of 1999.
* Avenue 19 - park apartments in New Belgrade
* Blok 23 - Verano company will invest 40 million euros in new business building in New Belgrade.
* Belgrade Aqua Park in New Belgrade.Facility will be among the largest in Europe.
* B2 Building, built by the Mali Kolektiv company
* Univerzitetsko Selo - University Village for the 2009 Universiade, under construction in New Belgrade. The project will cost 200 million euros. The British company Mace is overseeing construction. []
* Sava City in New Belgrade
* Marina Dorcol - The Engel company will invest 160 million euros in this project. The complex of hotels and apartments is to consist of five 13-storey buildings, one 11-storey building and a new marina.
* Ušće Tower - Construction of the mega-market commenced in 2006. The second twin skyscraper will be built from 2008 in New Belgrade
* Prokop station project is a mega-project that's scheduled to begin in September, resulting in relocation of the main railway station and its railway tracks, which will consequently free up building space in Belgrade's inner centre. The entire project is worth an estimated 2 billion US dollars, and is scheduled to be completed within a decade. Serbian company Energoproject will invest 200 million euros.
* GTC Square started to built in spring 2007 in block 41A of New Belgrade. It will occupy 25,000 square meters. []
* Delta City Autokomanda New shopping mall with 2 twin 21-storey skyscrapers with total 200000 square metres.Construction will start in 2007 and will cost 200 million euros.That will be one of the biggest shopping mall in this part of Europe. [] .
* Energoproject-block 26 Total investment of 60 million euros in New Belgrade's block 26.Project is consist of A-class office space{50000 sq.m} in two buildings. []
* Campus 41 in New Belgrade. Blok 41A will have three 100 m tall business skyscrapers and one 80 m tall hotel in total 90,000 sq.m. Construction will started in summer 2008. []
* VIG PLAZA is under construction in Block 11a in New Belgrade.Vienna Insurance Group and Promo Media will invest 50 million Euros. []


* Delta City Block 20. New Delta Holding headquarters will be situated in block 20 between Sava City and Hyatt in New Belgrade. The tower will have 36 floors and Hotel Intercontinental will have 13 floors. Construction will start in 2008. [] ,Video animation []
* Ada Bridge.New bridge in New Belgrade will cost in 160 million euros in total. Construction will start in 2008. The bridge tower will be 200 m tall. [] , []
* Hotel Kempinski former Hotel Jugoslavija- New Belgrade on Danube coast. Expansion will add two twin 33-storey skyscrapers.Reconstruction will start in late 2008 and construction of skyscraper will be finished until 2011. Casino Austria already invest about 60 million euros. It is expected to be one of the best Casino-Hotels in Europe.
* Plaza Hotel in Kneza Milosa street.Total investment will be 160 million euros.Company bought ex- SMUP, heavily damaged during Kosovo war for 33 million euros..
* Tenis Centar Đoković will be built in New Belgrade in Block 45. Complex will consist of 20-30 smaller tennis courts, and one main court with 5000 seats. The center will also have a tennis academy, a hotel, a hostel and other facilities. One of the owners will be the best Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković.
* ELGOLF company will invest about 800 million Euros in construction of 1,000,000 sq.m. of residential, hotel and business spaces. Company paid 26 million Euros for land in the municipality of Surcin. There will be also golf courses, an artifical lake, sport facilities... Construction will start in late 2008.
* Block 26 project will start in 2009.It will have 4 50-storey office buildings,one 30-floor and one 22-floor residental skyscraper.Total area will be over 460,000 sq.m."CEE Investements" will finance all project. []
