"Bad to Me" is a song written by John Lennon, credited to Lennon/McCartney, that Lennon wrote for Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas.David Sheff, "All We Are Saying" (New York: St. Martin's Press, 2000, ISBN 0-312-25464), p. 170] They released the song in 1963 and it became their first #1 UK hit. Paul McCartney was present during the recording session at Abbey Road Studios. The single would be released in the USA the following year, and become a top-ten hit in that country, reaching number 9.

Bootlegs exist of John Lennon's original demo of the song, which was recorded on May 31, 1963.

The song was also recorded on the 2003 album "From a Window", a set of 17 songs that Lennon and McCartney gave to other artists.
