Terdal is a panchayat town in Bagalkot district in the Indian state of Karnataka.


Terdal is located at coord|16.5|N|75.05|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/19/Terdal.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Terdal] ] . It has an average elevation of 536 metres (1758 feet).


As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Terdal had a population of 23,642. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Terdal has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 44%. In Terdal, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
