The Regent Hall is a Salvation Army centre on London's Oxford Street. It is one of the oldest centres in London [cite news |title=An Army To Be Saved |url=,9171,942407,00.html |work=Time |date=1971-01-04 |accessdate=2008-06-06 ] having been founded by the founder of the army, William Booth in 1882.cite news |title=Returning 'home' |url= |work=BBC |date= |accessdate=2008-06-06 ] The church is known across the world as the "Rink", because it was formerly a skating rink.
