Incidents and accidents

On August 17, 2007, Belle Air Flight LBY 601, a MD 80, destined for Antalya (Turkey), returned to its departure point, Tirana International Airport, after 33 minutes of flight for technical reasons. On February 20, 2008, the motor of a McDonnell Douglas MD-82 leaving from Verona to Tirana caught fire just before takeoff from Verona Airport. All the passengers were safely evacuated.
