Incarnate has many traditions which are unique to the school. Every homecoming, the four grades compete against each other to gather 'spirit points,' with the grade with the most points eventually winning the 'spirit stick.' The competitions are: trivia, the Big Sit, Junior vs. Senior Powderpuff game, Freshmen vs. Sophomore dodgeball game, wall decorating, and dress out points. The Saturday of homecoming, the entire senior class toilet papers every junior's house, and vice-versa. Another tradition is the OBA, or Outstanding Black Achievers, assembly, which includes speeches, readings, skits, dance, and step. Finally, Senior Sensation is a series of skits in which the senior class makes fun of teachers, school policies, and other humorous subjects. A favorite tradition, especially of seniors, is the Senior Sensation at the end of each year where students impersonate teachers and daily life at Incarnate through skits.
