International manned missions program

During the Space Race, United States was going to launch a human to Low Earth Orbit.

In 1959,after the announcement of admission of Hawaii to the U.S., NASA decided to launch Freedom 7 as the first American mission in the space.

Project Gemini comes in 1960 when JFK is elected.

Project Apollo comes in 1966.

In 1973, Project Skylab starts.

The IMMP ends in 1980.
