London 86 (also known as L.86, L86, London86) is a Modern pop rock band founded in 1995 in Berlin, Germany. Members of London 86 are : Stefan Klose (Vocals - Guitar ), Denny Hellbach (Bass), Marco Frenzel (Keyboard).

History of "London 86" begins in October 1995 - under the name "The Krauts" ("Die Krauts" in German language). Daniel Burde (Bass), Torsten Schwertfeger (Keyboarder) and singer/guitarist Stefan Klose created the group/band. Marco Frenzel joins "The Krauts" In 1997.

In February 1999, group produced 37 minutes long CD "Club Of The Inferior", which gave the band numerous appearances (among other things), as vorgruppe of "Die ART"(German) and "Blindly Passengers", a television appearance with "ROK TV" in Rostock and Airplay with the radio station "Fritz". Six months later the M-CD "Never Tried" was released.

In April 2001, London 86 was formed out of the band "The Krauts". The band's name has two possible origins. In 1986 today's band members first met in London in 1986 during a school trip to London not knowing that they will form a band in the future. Coincidently there is also an album by the band "Talk Talk" called "London 1986" which was considered the most influential music during the foundation of London 86. Their music is heavily influenced by such famous British bands such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Joy Division, New Order, Wolfsheim, The Divine Comedy, David Bowie to name but a few.

Their first audible result was their album "Changes" that was released in 2001. Their songs "Losing control" became even dailytaps at "" on May 2001 and "Someday Somehow" reached place 2 in the Popcharts (place 13 in total valuation). In October 2001, London 86 won a radio competition on the German radio show "Popagenten" on radio "Fritz" with their song "Someday Somehow" and was invited to an interview. One year later, London 86 again won the radio competition with their song "Tower of Lies".

In 2003, London 86 was contributing several songs for the movie [ LUVRGRL] , produced by Lee Bennett Sobel, released by [ Lo-Fi Entertainment] .

In the beginning of 2004, London 86 has used several videos of musics in their concert, filmed by producers BlueScreenProducerCrew. Group also decided to share their future success with a Berlin music publisher "Popagenten".

Recently, London 86 is working together with the famous German producer [ IC Falkenberg] (also known as, Ralf Schmidt).
