Ozyorsk (Russian: Озёрск; German: Darkehmen, called Angerapp from 1938 to 1945; Lithuanian: Darkiemis; Polish: Darkiejmy) is a town and the administrative center of Ozyorsky District of Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, located on the Angrapa River, 30 kilometers (19 mi) southeast of Chernyakhovsk near the border with the Polish Warmia-Masuria Voivodship. Population: 4,740 (2010 Census preliminary results);[1] 5,801 (2002 Census);[2] 6,219 (1989 Census).[3]
