The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development is a governmental agency of the U.S. state of New Jersey. The department is headed by Commissioner Harold J. Wirths. Wirths, nominated by Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie in January 2010, was a member of the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
