Released in 2005, Da'ani (meaning "let me") is Ahmed Bukhatir's fifth album. It consists of eight nasheeds of which two are in English. These cover various topics ranging from Islamic themes to general community issues. "Ya Akhi" is a nasheed tribute to a brother.[1] The most popular nasheeds are "Zawjati" and "Forgive me".[citation needed] The former pays tributes to the role of wives and the latter offers encouragement to the disabled. Video Clips

"Forgive me".

Three video clips were made from this album.

  • "Ya Akhi" is a video clip that encourages the bond of brothers.[citation needed]
  • "Zawjati" is a video portraying a man who cares for his wife and misses her when they are apart. Its director was Mohammed Al Jami, who had previously directed "Ya'Bunaya (My Son)". The video clip was sponsored by Damas Group, a Jewelery retail chain in United Arab Emirates. The production company involved was Insight Arabia which is owned by Ahmed Bukhatir himself.[citation needed]
  • "Forgive me" is about a person who laments his circumstances, but, after realizing that others are worse off yet accepting, he asks forgiveness. It was directed by Mohammed Al Jami in Turkey and produced by Insight Arabia Group. The theme of "Forgive me" will be used in an upcoming campaign by Bukhatir Forums called "Merciful Hearts"[3].
