Sunday Mail (Scotland)

The "Sunday Mail" is a Scottish tabloid newspaper published every Sunday. It is the sister paper of the "Daily Record" and is owned by Trinity Mirror and as such has a left-wing outlook which in turn tends to guide Scottish political debate in that direction.

The Sunday Mail is read by over 1.5 million people per week making it the biggest selling and best read paper in the country.Fact|date=October 2007

It should not be confused with "The Mail on Sunday"; the "Daily Mail" was unable to use the title "Sunday Mail" when it launched a Sunday edition in 1982 because the Scottish paper already existed.
