Astron (ship)

The "Astron" is a shipwreck located off the coast of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The "Astron" was a ship that was delivering 60 tons of corn to Cuba, when it ran aground in Punta Cana. It was a Russian ship.Fact|date=August 2008 According to urban legend, in 1976, Fidel Castro asked the Russians for 60 tons of corn so, the Russians put the "Astron" in charge of bringing that corn.Fact|date=August 2008 It ran aground and sank.
