Lurasidone is a atypical antipsychotic by Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma (Japan). as of|2008, it is undergoing a Phase III clinical trial.

Lurasidone blocks D2- and 5-HT2A-receptors. It seems to cause less extrapyramidal side effects than current antipsychotics.
