** Grass Fight November 26 - Texans, thinking a Mexican pack train is carrying silver, capture it but only end up with grass.
** Siege of Bexar (October 12 - December 11) Texans successfully besiege and defeat Mexicans.
** Dade Battle December 23 108 American troops were ambushed by about 180 Seminole Indians. Colonel Dade, who was on horseback, was the first to be killed. Only three American purportedly survived the attack. Two of these survivors died shortly after.

** Battle of Saint-Denis November 23 - Canadian rebels under Wolfred Nelson defeat British.
