Captain Win Everett,Program Manager for the US Navy’s Undergraduate Flight Training Systems at Patuxent River, Maryland referring to support for the F405 engine on the T-45 Goshawk training aircraft said: "Under Rolls-Royce, engine availability has exceeded the current target of 85 percent, the average time between engine removals has increased from 700 hours to over 900 hours and expected engine removals havefallen by 15 per cent."
